As a seasoned skincare specialist with 17 years of experience in the beauty industry, I understand the importance of a proper makeup removal routine. Let's delve into a step-by-step guide to gently and effectively removing long-wearing full glam, including false eyelashes.
Step 1: Remove your Lashes: Rub in an up-and-down motion on the outer corner of your top lash line until the end of the false lash pops up. Continue rubbing the cue tip along the lash line until the false lashes are fully removed.
Step 2: Gather Your Tools: Run warm- hot water into your basin and drop in your muslin cloth.
Step 3: Use Cleansing Oil or Cleansing Balm
Put a slightly larger pea-size amount onto the palm of your hand and rub your hands together
Rub the cleanser onto your complexion, leaving the eye makeup to last
Squeeze out the excess water from your muslin cloth and hold against your complexion for a few seconds
Gently wipe over your eyes and then the rest of your complexion
Rinse cloth and repeat wiping if necessary
Step 4: Double Cleanse
Choose a gentle water-based cleanser
Place half- 1 full pump onto your hand
Gently rub into your complexion and avoid your eyes
Rinse and pat dry
Step 5: Firstly, Eye Product
Using a minimal amount (size of a grain of rice)
Place product onto your ring fingers
Pat and lightly sweep product around your orbital bone
Step 6: Facial Oil
Place 2-3 facial oil drops into the palm of your hand and rub your palms together
Press and pat your hands onto your complexion
Take a moment to give yourself a mini facial by sweeping your ring and middle fingers from the centre of your complexion outwards towards your temples/ top of cheek bones for lymphatic drainage.
What is Lymphatic drainage? A gentle form of massaging used to smooth and de-puff. Encouraging the circulation of oxygen around your complexion, leading to hydration and radiance!
Step 7: Gentle Actives for Advance Results
Cut down on your skincare routine duration with an exfoliating serum
Place 1 pump into your hand and rub your palms together
Press product around your complexion and avoid your eye area
